Sandy Rosario is absolutely USELESS!!!

So the kid had a disastrous (putting it mildly) first game a few days back....maybe he could do better next time around. Right? WRONG!!!

The kid could not handle coming into a game where we were up by six, and before fans at the game could make it back to the stands after a beer and hot dog run, the kid managed to load the bases and give up another run. It happened so quick that if you left the stands for three minutes, the damage was done. I am sorry, but the rookie pitcher is a bust. His ERA is an eye popping 54!!!!

I am so tired of the team this year, and am sure season ticket holders are too. It sucks paying for Marlins tickets (not the cheapest in baseball) only to see them field a team of AA and AAA rookies. Is anyone staring to miss Cody Ross yet? Hard to be a die hard fan when Loria and the management insist on making you pay to watch sub-standard minor league players making league minimum, because we are too cheap to buy any talent.

Yep.

It sure does suck to see them testing and preparing players for the future when they could’ve spent $5 million on an aging corner outfielder with a .720 OPS.

Unless, of course, it takes playing time away from Ryan Anderson.

its a business

comparing the numbers from this season:
lomo: .288 avg, .398 obp, 2 hr, 42 r
ross: .264 avg, .318 obp, 14 hr, 70 r
lomo more than makes up for his left field defense; & at 1/10 the salary

may be they shouldve brought up these AA/AAA rookies like stanton & lomo earlier

So, instead of getting these stellar rookies experience (and testing out other rookies to see how they do in the majors)

The Marlins should just play the Kansas City Royals handbook of playing declining or average veterans all year long, even after they’re out of the playoff hunt? I’d much rather see Mike Stanton, Logan Morrison, and Alex Sanabia play than watch Jorge Cantu, Cody Ross, and Andrew Miller. It’s time for the AAA guys to shine.

Chris Coghlan is the 2009 NLRoY (that's a +1 for me!)
Josh Johnson for the 2010 NL Cy Young!
