Previous podcast guest right-hander Jake Walters has earned his first professional win, while the rest of the team’s pitching staff is in flux following a pair of roster moves. Josh Roberson is due to make his long-awaited return from the injured list in the coming days.

Hitting coach Frank Moore joins us (8:30) to discuss his experiences in the Marlins organization, the evolution of offensive strategy in baseball, and the development of particular LumberKings this season.

Moore split his playing career between the Rays and Marlins farm systems, slashing .276/.328/.380 with 34 home runs over the course of 870 MiLB games. He entered the coaching ranks shortly after retirement.
