Spring training results
The Marlins fell 5-4 to the St. Louis Cardinals yesterday at Roger Dean stadium, bringing their spring record to 7-5. Braxton Lee, Derek Dietrich and Tomas Telis all picked up a couple hits. Yadiel Rivera hit a triple, and Isaac Galloway stayed hot with a single in a pinch-hit appearance later in the game.
Jose Urena got the start and went three innings with a couple K’s, a couple walks and a couple hits, and only one run given up. Brad Ziegler got in there with a hit and strikeout, but Caleb Smith was touched up a bit in his three innings, give up three earned runs on five hits, walking one and striking out a trio. Junichi Tazawa took the loss when he gave up a run in the eighth inning, his lone inning of work.
The Marlins will take on the Red Sox here shortly at 1:05 pm et. Here’s the lineup:

Marlins to honor Felo, José
It’s been reported that both the team’s longtime Spanish announcer Felo Ramírez and star pitcher Jose Fernandez will receive memorial plaques at Marlins Park to honor their memories.
