Little League home runs by Marlins hitters

Scoring yourself without even hitting it over the fence makes for arguably the most exciting play in baseball.

Countless events scheduled for the spring and summer of 2020 have been postponed or wiped out completely due to COVID-19 concerns. Last week, Little League followed suit in regards to its annual World Series tournaments. It’s a devastating blow to so many talented children, hindering baseball’s international growth.

As an homage to them, I have compiled some examples of Marlins hitters joyously circling the bases on “Little League home runs.” For our purposes, let’s use a broad definition—going home to home on a ball that never left the field of play, aided by one or more defensive miscues.
