Earning Their Stripes Episode 13: Breaking down latest Marlins prospect promotions

The starting pitching that we’ve been monitoring in the high minors the past few months is now impacting the Marlins major league rotation...with more reinforcements in the pipeline.

Danny, Ethan and Ian are relieved to see the Marlins farm system bearing fruit in the majors (3:00), with Jordan Yamamoto and Zac Gallen earning rotation spots (5:30). The guys summarize a handful of key promotions within the system (12:00), including—but not limited to—Robert Dugger, Edward Cabrera, Chris Vallimont, Peyton Burdick and Evan Edwards. Ian reports findings from his in-person scouting of No. 1 prospect Sixto Sánchez last weekend (17:30). Plus, checking in with dynamic outfield talents Lewis Brinson and Víctor Víctor Mesa and their progress with New Orleans and Jupiter, respectively (25:00).
