The MLB trade deadline is today at 4pm ET, and you can expect to see a flurry of moves across the league. On Friday morning, the Miami Marlins jumped into the fray adding Andrew Cashner and Colin Rea in a blockbuster seven player deal. Washington Nationals (61-44, 1st NL Central)
The Nationals have already begun to improve their roster, acquiring closer Mark Melancon from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Los Angeles Dodgers (59-46, 1st NL Wild Card)
The Dodgers have been linked to a number of players, as expected from a team with a top tier farm system that is competing for a playoff spot. They may look to add another pitcher, due to their unlucky rash of injuries at the position Just take a look at these names on the disabled list: Clayton Kershaw, Hyun-jin Ryu, Brett Anderson, and Alex Wood.

The Mets are looking for a help at number of key positions, including catcher, outfield, and relief pitcher. Most notably, they have been linked to Jay Bruce.
