This past spring, in his second year of eligibility, CJ was elected to the Fish Stripes Marlins Hall of Fame, becoming the first Marlins catcher to receive that recognition from our staff members and readers.
Formed in partnership with the Carribean Baseball Organization (CBO), the Charles Johnson Collegiate Summer League will run from June 25-August 6 at the Lawnwood Baseball Complex in Fort Pierce. There are openings for 105 players who will compete on six different teams. The champion of the league will receive a bid and travel package to the National Baseball Congress Championship in Wichita, KS. Alex Arias and Antonio Alfonseca—former Fish teammates of CJ’s—are participating as guest instructors, too.
Limited spots remaining! Get the full details from the CBO Tournaments website.
