The Miami Herald reported on Monday that Sixto and Anthony Bender are among the players who will begin the Marlins regular season at their alternate training site (aka “Fish Tank”). Later in the day, James Hoyt was traded to the Angels for cash considerations. This comes on the heels of Sunday’s announcement that Jazz Chisholm Jr. secured the second base job, beating out Isan Díaz.
Then on Tuesday, Fish Stripes was first to report that Curtiss has indeed made the team.
