On Wednesday, the Marlins formally invited the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple-A), Pensacola Blue Wahoos (Double-A), Beloit Snappers (High-A) and Jupiter Hammerheads (Low-A) to be their full-season affiliates for the 2021 Minor League Baseball season. Each of them have indicated that they will accept those invitations.
We are grateful and honored to be extended an invite by the @Marlins to be their Triple-A affiliate.— Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (@JaxShrimp) December 9, 2020
Jacksonville, this would not be possible without all of your support from our fans, our partners, @ASMGlobalLive and @CityofJax. Thank you.

Statement from Gary Denbo, Marlins VP of player development and scouting:
“We are extremely excited to invite the great baseball communities in Jacksonville, Pensacola, Beloit and Jupiter to join our Player Development system. As the Miami Marlins continue to build a championship organization, these outstanding baseball destinations will serve as home for our elite players and staff as they continue their rise up to the Major Leagues. In addition to beginning a new relationship in Beloit, Wisconsin, we look forward to a well-deserved promotion to Triple-A for Jacksonville, welcoming an award-winning organization in Pensacola and remaining in Jupiter as we continue to build lifelong fans and expand the Marlins’ footprint throughout the state of Florida.”
Fish Stripes will be adding articles to this stream dedicated to each affiliate.
