- The Braves extended Charlie Morton, who’s been the lone constant in their starting rotation all season. The veteran right-hander will earn a $20 million salary in 2022 plus a $20 million club option for 2023. Morton has more career wins (nine) and strikeouts (96) vs. the Marlins than any other team.
