Trevor Rogers - 2021 Frequency of Pitches by Pitch Speed Baseball Savant

Notes: The Marlins team flight arrived in Atlanta at 1:51 a.m. ET...They were emphatically swept by the Braves when these rivals previously met in mid-August...The most well-rested pitchers available out of the Marlins bullpen are Paul Campbell, Sean Guenther, Steven Okert, Zach Thompson and Taylor Williams.

Braves Starting Lineup

  1. 2B Ozzie Albies
  2. RF Jorge Soler
  3. 1B Freddie Freeman
  4. 3B Austin Riley
  5. LF Adam Duvall
  6. C Travis d’Arnaud
  7. SS Orlando Arcia
  8. CF Guillermo Heredia
  9. RHP Ian Anderson (2021 season stats: 3.61 ERA, 3.97 FIP, 22.2 K%, 40.1 HardHit% in 104.2 IP)
Ian Anderson - 2021 Frequency of Pitches by Pitch Speed Baseball Savant

Notes: Soler has rediscovered his former American League home run champion form with 10 long balls in his first 35 Braves games (five of those vs. lefties like Rogers). Meanwhile, Duvall is even hotter at the plate...One of the keys to Anderson’s 2020 short-season brilliance was avoiding barrels (only one allowed on 81 batted balls). That has not carried over to his first full MLB season, where his 9.7% barrel rate is significant worse than league average.
