Notes: The Mets have been the epitome of a .500 team since the end of May with no winning or losing streaks longer than three games during that period...The oldest starting pitcher in the majors, Hill is on pace for one of the heaviest workloads of his career. Despite his longevity, Joe Panik and Jesús Aguilar are the only active Marlins who have faced the southpaw in multiple regular season games.

Notes: Don Mattingly tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms. James Rowson will serve as acting manager in the meantime. The Marlins are 2-3 so far in games managed by Rowson...Happy birthday to Garrett! He turns 24 today...The most well-rested relievers available in the Marlins bullpen are Anthony Bender, David Hess and newly reinstated Paul Campbell. Austin Pruitt would’ve belonged in that sentence, but he was designated for assignment to make room for Garrett. After pitching on four of the past five days, Anthony Bass is presumed to be unavailable.
