At the end of each month, the Fish Picks winner—whoever has the percentage of correct picks (among qualifiers)—will receive a hand-painted Trevor Rogers baseball card.

Everybody’s point totals have been reset for the start of August.

Marlins Starting Lineup

  1. SS Miguel Rojas
  2. 2B Jazz Chisholm Jr.
  3. 1B Jesús Aguilar
  4. CF Lewis Brinson
  5. 3B Brian Anderson
  6. LF Jorge Alfaro
  7. RF Bryan De La Cruz
  8. C Alex Jackson
  9. RHP Zach Thompson (2021 season stats: 2.91 ERA, 3.59 FIP, 22.2 K%, 37.7 HardHit% in 52.2 IP)
Zach Thompson - 2021 Frequency of Pitches by Pitch Speed Baseball Savant

Notes: Bryan De La Cruz has not batted higher than the No. 6 spot in any of his Marlins appearances despite maintaining a .319 batting average as a big leaguer. That trend will continue...Rojas is the only starting player who has faced Miley in multiple career games. He mashes left-handed pitching in general, as you’ve probably noticed by now...The most well-rested pitchers available in the Marlins bullpen are Anthony Bender, Paul Campbell, Ross Detwiler, Sean Guenther, Bryan Mitchell and newly selected Austin Pruitt.

Reds Starting Lineup

  1. 2B Jonathan India
  2. CF Tyler Naquin
  3. RF Nick Castellanos
  4. 1B Joey Votto
  5. SS Kyle Farmer
  6. LF Aristides Aquino
  7. 3B Eugenio Suárez
  8. C Tucker Barnhart
  9. LHP Wade Miley (2021 season stats: 2.84 ERA, 3.58 FIP, 18.9 K%, 34.3 HardHit% in 133.0 IP)
Wade Miley - 2021 Frequency of Pitches by Pitch Speed Baseball Savant

Notes: India has emerged as the NL Rookie of the Year frontrunner, hitting for more and more power as the season progresses. Also, his .389 on-base percentage is seventh-best among all MLB qualifiers...The resurgent Votto is slashing .308/.401/.671 with 25 homers this season against righties like Thompson.
