Notes: The Mets have been the epitome of a .500 team since the end of May with no winning or losing streaks longer than three games during that period...Many of their position players have recovered somewhat from slow offensive starts to the season, but not Michael Conforto. His .324 slugging percentage is 90 points worse than his previous single-season low.

- SS Miguel Rojas
- 1B Jesús Aguilar
- LF Lewis Brinson

Notes: Despite initially being optioned to Triple-A, newly acquired left-hander Jesús Luzardo is making his Marlins organizational debut tonight as a member of their major league rotation! He most recently pitched on July 25 (5.0 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 4 K on 89 pitches). This will also be Alex Jackson’s first appearance for his new team...Don Mattingly tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms. James Rowson will serve as acting manager in the meantime...With two more hits, Rojas will move ahead of Preston Wilson for 15th place on the Marlins all-time hits list...The most well-rested relievers available in the Marlins bullpen are Anthony Bender, Ross Detwiler, David Hess, Zach Pop, Austin Pruitt and newly recalled Sean Guenther.
