Picks are only valid if submitted to us prior to first pitch.

The Fish Picks leaderboard is updated daily. Congrats to Ginger_taco and SeanF, both of whom picked a Perfect Game on Wednesday.

At the end of each month, the Fish Picks winner—whoever has the percentage of correct picks (among qualifiers)—will receive a hand-painted Trevor Rogers baseball card.

Everybody’s point totals have been reset for the start of August.

Luis Castillo - 2021 Frequency of Pitches by Pitch Speed Baseball Savant

Notes: India has emerged as the NL Rookie of the Year frontrunner, hitting for more and more power as the season progresses. Also, his .390 on-base percentage is seventh-best among all MLB qualifiers...After a troubling early portion of 2021, Castillo has found his groove. In 14 of his last 15 starts, the Dominican right-hander has allowed three earned runs or fewer while pitching into the sixth inning.
