Dodgers Lineup

  1. RF Mookie Betts
  2. 1B Max Muncy
  3. LF Matt Beaty
  4. CF Cody Bellinger
  5. C Will Smith
  6. 2B Chris Taylor
  7. SS Gavin Lux
  8. 3B Zach McKinstry
  9. LHP Julio Urías (2021 season stats: 3.81 ERA, 3.51 FIP, 27.4 K%, 32.7 HardHit% in 99.1 IP)
Julio Urías - 2021 Frequency of Pitches by Pitch Speed Baseball Savant

Notes: Urías was pushed back a day from his original schedule to get extra rest (he has already blown past his previous single-season high for innings pitched)...Fortunately for the Fish, Justin Turner, who has reached base safely in 18 consecutive starts, is on the bench.

Marlins Lineup

  1. 2B Jazz Chisholm Jr.
  2. CF Starling Marte
  3. RF Garrett Cooper
  4. 1B Jesús Aguilar
  5. SS Miguel Rojas
  6. LF Jesús Sánchez
  7. C Sandy León
  8. 3B Jon Berti
  9. RHP Sandy Alcantara (2021 season stats: 2.96 ERA, 3.61 FIP, 21.3 K%, 37.2 HardHit% in 112.2 IP)
Sandy Alcantara - 2021 Frequency of Pitches by Pitch Speed Baseball Savant

Notes: Looks like Don Mattingly wants to stay away from using Adam Duvall again as he continues to battle a minor (non-COVID related) illness...The only players in Marlins history to pitch 120-plus innings with a sub-3.00 earned run average during the first half of a season are Henderson Alvarez, Kevin Brown, Josh Johnson, Carl Pavano and Dontrelle Willis. Alcantara has a chance to join them if he’s efficient and effective today...The well-rested pitchers available in the Marlins bullpen (haven’t pitched in at least two days) are Richard Bleier, Dylan Floro, Yimi García, David Hess, Steven Okert and Zach Pop.
