Notes: Another trade! Announced shortly before the game, the Marlins have sent right-hander Justin Sterner (an undrafted free agent signing) and cash considerations to the Rays for right-hander David Hess. Hess has been selected to the roster with Jordan Holloway being optioned in a corresponding move...Only the Rockies (11) and Diamondbacks (10) have been shut out more often than the Marlins this season, who were held scoreless for the ninth time on Friday...The well-rested pitchers available in the Marlins bullpen (haven’t pitched in at least two days) are John Curtiss, Yimi García, Hess, Steven Okert and Zach Pop.

Braves Lineup

  1. RF Ronald Acuña Jr.
  2. 1B Freddie Freeman
  3. 2B Ozzie Albies
  4. 3B Austin Riley

  6. CF Guillermo Heredia
  7. LF Abraham Almonte
  8. C Kevan Smith
  9. LHP Kyle Muller (2021 season stats: 2.70 ERA, 1.76 FIP, 32.5 K%, 30.4 HardHit% in 10.0 IP)
Kyle Muller - 2021 Frequency of Pitches by Pitch Speed Baseball Savant

Notes: Albies has been playing at an Acuña-like level over his last 12 games, reaching base safely in each one while slashing .333/.367/.711 with five home runs and six stolen bases...The only active Marlins player who has seen Muller this season is Jesús Sánchez, back on June 2 when both he and Muller were in Triple-A.
