• In Monday’s blowout loss, Miguel Rojas passed Gary Sheffield to move into 17th place on the all-time Marlins career hits list. Rojas will almost certainly pass Adeiny Hechavarría for 16th place this week and could move up even further before the trade deadline—leapfrogging Preston Wilson at 549—if he stays hot.
• Right-hander Andrew Bellatti took the mound for mop-up duty in what was his first major league appearance since October 2, 2015. It...did not go so well (1.1 IP, 5 H, 5 ER, 0 BB, 2 K).
