Coinciding with the first game that the Miami Marlins will play in their City Connect uniforms, FOCO has released a new Jesús Aguilar bobblehead. The hand-crafted, hand-painted product portrays Aguilar posing in the alternate uniform, which was inspired by the color scheme of the Havana Sugar Kings, a famous Cuban minor league team.
The bobbleheads are priced at $50 and individually numbered out of 144. Pre-order yours here.
Entering Friday, Jesús Aguilar leads the 2021 Marlins in home runs (9), runs batted in (32), walks (18) and plate appearances (166). His 132 wRC+ easily tops his career average of 115. Moreover, he is revered among his teammates for his mentorship and playful approach.
Although Don Mattingly did not insert Aguilar into Friday’s starting lineup, he will have the whole weekend to wear his Legacy Red uniform on the field. The Marlins also intend to use the unis for 10 other games later in the regular season (all home games at LoanDepot Park).
