Marlins Lineup

  1. 2B Jazz Chisholm
  2. SS Miguel Rojas
  3. 1B Jesús Aguilar
  4. CF Adam Duvall
  5. LF Corey Dickerson
  6. 3B Brian Anderson
  7. RF Garrett Cooper
  8. C Sandy León
  9. LHP Trevor Rogers (2021 season stats: 1.84 ERA, 2.42 FIP, 32.6 K%, 44.9 HardHit% in 44.0 IP)
Trevor Rogers - 2021 Frequency of Pitches by Pitch Speed Baseball Savant

Notes: Happy 28th birthday to Brian Anderson! BA previously played on his birthday in 2018 (2-for-4, Marlins lost) and 2019 (0-for-4, Marlins won)...Rogers’ only history with the Phillies occurred on Sept. 11, 2020 and it was the worst outing of his young major league career (3.0 IP, 9 H, 9 R, 8 ER, 0 BB, 5 K, 2 HR). With at least four strikeouts tonight, he’ll become the first pitcher ever to reach 100 K’s in his first 16 Marlins starts...Adam Duvall picked up his fifth outfield assist of the season on Tuesday, tying him for the MLB lead in that category.

Phillies Lineup

  1. LF Andrew McCutchen
  2. 2B Jean Segura
  3. RF Bryce Harper
  4. 1B Rhys Hoskins
  5. 3B Alec Bohm
  6. C Andrew Knapp
  7. CF Odúbel Herrera
  8. SS Ronald Torreyes
  9. RHP Zach Eflin (2021 season stats: 3.86 ERA, 2.95 FIP, 24.5 K%, 45.7 HardHit% in 51.1 IP)
Zach Eflin - 2021 Frequency of Pitches by Pitch Speed Baseball Savant

Notes: After a lousy April, Andrew McCutchen has caught fire since the calendar flipped (.291/.423/.600, 5 HR in 71 PA)...Old friend J.T. Realmuto (wrist) has started only two games in the past week, but could still prove to be a factor in this series...Eflin pounds the strike zone—only five walks allowed all season—and consistently gives the Phillies length. He has completed at least six innings pitched in every appearance.
