Welcome to Saturday’s Marlins (17-21, +11 RD) vs. Dodgers (21-17, +43 RD) game thread.
During every Marlins game, join in on the Fish Picks prop bets fun. It’s always free to participate and the prizes are real. Please use this link!
Picks are only valid if submitted to us prior to first pitch.
The Fish Picks leaderboard will be updated daily. Congrats to DavidPerez1619, @JJFearnley and Ken R, each of whom picked a Perfect Game on Friday.
At the end of each month, the Fish Picks points leader—whoever has the most total correct picks—will receive a t-shirt of their choice from our partners at Legends of Dade!
- SS Miguel Rojas
- 1B Jesús Aguilar
- LF Corey Dickerson
- RF Garrett Cooper
- 2B Isan Díaz
- 3B Brian Anderson
- C Sandy León
- CF Magneuris Sierra
- RHP Jordan Holloway (2021 season stats: 1.98 ERA, 2.81 FIP, 20.0 K%, 26.3 HardHit% in 13.2 IP)
Notes: Holloway is fully rested and stretched out for a lengthy outing. Expect to see lots of Richard Bleier and Ross Detwiler as well—the Dodgers have MLB’s best offense against right-handed pitching, but are far less potent against lefties...Despite great all-around performance on his minor league rehab assignment this week, Jazz Chisholm Jr. (hamstring strain) is not going to be reinstated from the injured list until the Phillies series, according to Craig Mish...Garrett Cooper may be gradually emerging from his slump after recording his first extra-base hit and runs batted in of the month in Friday’s game.
- RF Mookie Betts
- SS Corey Seager
- 3B Justin Turner
- 1B Max Muncy
- C Will Smith
- CF Chris Taylor
- 2B Gavin Lux
- LF Matt Beaty
- RHP Trevor Bauer (2021 season stats: 2.50 ERA, 3.52 FIP, 34.7 K%, 41.3 HardHit% in 50.1 IP)
Notes: After allowing four runs in his Dodgers debut, Bauer hasn’t allowed that many in any game since then...Recently released by the crosstown Angels, living legend Albert Pujols has agreed to terms with the Dodgers on a major league deal. He presumably fills the shoes of fellow right-handed slugger Edwin Ríos who underwent season-ending labrum surgery. The signing will not be official until Monday so Pujols won’t have an impact on this series.
