Welcome to Monday’s Marlins (15-18, +20 RD) vs. Diamondbacks (15-19, -15 RD) game thread.
During every Marlins game, join in on the Fish Picks prop bets fun. It’s always free to participate and the prizes are real. Please use this link!
Picks are only valid if submitted to us prior to first pitch.
The Fish Picks leaderboard will be updated daily. Congrats to @TravisGreen05, the only one who picked a Perfect Game on Sunday.
At the end of each month, the Fish Picks points leader—whoever has the most total correct picks—will receive a t-shirt of their choice from our partners at Legends of Dade!
- 2B Isan Díaz
- 1B Jesús Aguilar
- RF Garrett Cooper
- LF Corey Dickerson
- 3B Brian Anderson
- CF Lewis Brinson
- C Chad Wallach
- SS Jon Berti
- RHP Jordan Holloway (2021 season stats: 0.00 ERA, 2.00 FIP, 27.0 K%, 16.7 HardHit% in 10.0 IP)
Notes: Nearly seven years after being drafted by the Marlins, Holloway is making his first career start for them at the major league level. Don Mattingly expects to cap his workload at around 75 pitches tonight...Miguel Rojas loves playing against the D-backs. His career .874 OPS (110 PA) in this matchup is significantly higher that he has against any other National League team...Garrett Cooper is riding a season-high three-game hitting streak, which speaks volumes about how unreliable he’s been at the plate...The well-rested pitchers available out of the Marlins bullpen (haven’t pitched in at least two days) are Anthony Bender, John Curtiss, Adam Cimber, Ross Detwiler, Luis Madero and Zach Pop.
- RF Pavin Smith
- C Carson Kelly
- 3B Asdrúbal Cabrera
- LF David Peralta
- 1B Christian Walker
- 2B Eduardo Escobar
- SS Nick Ahmed
- CF Daulton Varsho
- RHP Luke Weaver (2021 season stats: 6.07 ERA, 4.99 FIP, 22.3 K%, 46.1 HardHit% in 29.2 IP)
Notes: Weaver was roughed up for six earned runs in four innings when he faced the Fish last week. His rotation spot is potentially in jeopardy if he struggles to that degree yet again...Arizona’s offense has been regressing to the mean and our friends at AZ SnakePit are not optimistic about a sudden turnaround in this series.
