Thursday: First start of the year for Mets pitcher Taijuan Walker.

• Walker is making his first start of the year on Thursday.
• He had Tommy John surgery in 2018, so over the past three seasons he has only thrown 67.1 innings over 15 starts. Dickerson has faced Walker a few times, recording 1 triple and 2 home runs.

Saturday: Jacob deGrom.

• deGrom is one of the best pitchers in baseball. Need I say more?
• The Marlins have faced deGrom 26 times in his career. Their record in those games are 12 wins and 14 losses. deGrom pitched against the Philadelphia Phillies in his first outing of 2021, allowing 3 hits and 2 walks over 6.0 innings. He also struck out 7 batters.

Sunday: Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman vs. Marlins leftfielder Corey Dickerson.

• Dickerson’s career numbers against Stroman: 14 hits in 33 at-bats with 5 doubles and 2 home runs.
• Dickerson faced Stroman frequently from 2016-2017 when he was playing for the Tampa Bay Rays and Stroman was with the Toronto Blue Jays. Stroman is a fun player to watch.
