Welcome to Tuesday’s Marlins (10-12, +9 RD) vs. Brewers (13-9, +10 RD) game thread.
During every Marlins game, join in on the Fish Picks prop bets fun. It’s always free to participate and the prizes are real.
To make it possible for us to count all of your individual picks in an efficient manner (instead of just the “perfect games”), we are transitioning to this Fish Picks submission form. Picks are only valid if submitted to us prior to first pitch.
At the end of each month, the Fish Picks points leader will receive a t-shirt of their choice from our partners at Legends of Dade!
The Fish Picks leaderboard will be updated daily.

Notes: No changes to the lineup...Corey Dickerson’s homerless streak dating back to the 2020 National League Wild Card Series was finally snapped on Monday. It was his third straight multi-hit game, propelling him to seventh in the NL batting title race (.324 BA)...Chad Wallach is in a funk defensively, struggling to frame pitches—especially to his glove side—and to control opposing baserunners. Sunday was the first time in his career that he allowed three stolen bases in a game...The well-rested pitchers available out of the Marlins bullpen (haven’t pitched in at least two days) are Yimi García and Anthony Bass.
Brewers Lineup
- LF Tyrone Taylor
- C Omar Narváez
- RF Avisaíl García
- 1B Keston Hiura
- 3B Travis Shaw
- SS Luis Urías
- CF Jackie Bradley Jr.
- 2B Pablo Reyes
- RHP Adrian Houser (2021 season stats: 3.32 ERA, 4.63 FIP, 15.0 K%, 46.6 HardHit% in 19.0 IP)

Notes: Monday’s game was the first time all season that the Brewers have faced a left-handed starting pitcher. It didn’t go so well for them! Of course, Castano’s style and quality of stuff are not anything like Trevor Rogers’...Kolten Wong has been awesome in the leadoff spot since returning from the injured list (.588/.611/.941, 0 K in 18 PA). Fortunately for the Fish, he’s getting a precautionary day off...Christian Yelich (lower back strain) will remain sidelined for this entire series...As mentioned in my old friends roundup, Brad Boxberger is doing solidly for the Brew Crew in middle relief.
