On the heels of an excellent weekend, Aguilar raised his season wRC+ to 137 (league average is 100). That’s on pace to be a personal best for him...Chad Wallach is in a funk defensively, struggling to frame pitches—especially to his glove side—and to control opposing baserunners. Sunday was the first time in his career that he allowed three stolen bases in a game.

Notes: This will be the first time all season that the Brewers lineup has faced a left-handed starting pitcher...With all due respect to Rogers and how much he is thriving, Burnes and Jacob deGrom are in a tier of their own, bordering on perfection through four starts. Burnes’ cutter averages 96 miles per hour—much faster than any other MLB starter—and he hasn’t walked anybody in 2021...Christian Yelich (lower back strain) will remain sidelined for all three games of this series...As mentioned in my old friends roundup, Brad Boxberger is doing solidly for the Brew Crew in middle relief.
