Marlins vs. Giants: Start time, how to watch, game thread and Fish Picks—April 25, 2021

Welcome to Sunday’s Marlins (9-11, +2 RD) vs. Giants (13-8, +9) game thread. Barring a postseason matchup, this four-game set will be the final meeting between these teams in 2021.

Notes: Today, the Marlins will be using their seventh different starting pitcher of the season. For context, they used 13 different starters in 2020. Craig Mish initially reported that rookie Paul Campbell would get the honor, but plans have changed due to inclement weather. Campbell will presumably handle multiple innings out of the bullpen once the team feels confident that the precipitation has passed...At least five Marlins players/staff participating in minor league spring training in Jupiter have tested positive for COVID-19. Although obviously distressing, the big league team should not be directly impacted—the club’s top reinforcements are either in San Francisco right now as part of the taxi squad or based in Jacksonville with the Fish Tank.
