Big Hall Talk Pilot Episode

Ethan Budowsky introduces a new podcast series, seeking to bring justice to the Baseball Hall of Fame voting process.

The Baseball Writers’ Association of America (BBWAA) has the privilege each year of voting on who gets inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Unfortunately, the writers are struggling to get it right. On “Big Hall Talk,” Ethan Budowsky shows us a better way to do this. His vision of the HOF is one in which deserving players are voted in, personal vendettas are ignored and candidates are evaluated on nothing more than their careers on the baseball diamond.

For those who missed it, the Fish Stripes podcast dedicated an episode to analyzing the 2021 HOF ballot last month, which features former Marlins players Gary Sheffield, Mark Buehrle and A.J. Burnett.

BBWAA voting results will be announced on MLB Network Tuesday during the 6 p.m. ET hour.
