Welcome to Friday’s Marlins (29-28) vs. Yankees (32-25) game thread. We’ve made it to the final series of the regular season!

Fish Picks is BACK and better than ever! Our free-to-play daily prop bets contest is open to all fans. The 2020 full-season points leader will be decided this week. Whoever finishes on top gets their pick of three new Marlins-themed t-shirts.

The Fish Picks leaderboard will update daily to let you know where you stand.

Marlins Lineup

  1. 2B Jon Berti
  2. CF Starling Marte
  3. 1B Jesús Aguilar
  4. 3B Brian Anderson
  5. DH Garrett Cooper
  6. RF Lewis Brinson
  7. LF Corey Dickerson
  8. SS Miguel Rojas
  9. C Chad Wallach

P Sandy Alcantara (3.12 ERA, 4.17 FIP, 20.7 K%, 27.7 Hard Hit% in 34.2 IP)

Notes: The combination of facing a left-handed starter and Rojas’ recent struggles create an opportunity for Berti to lead off. It’s an assignment he had frequently earlier this season, but only once over the last three weeks or so...Alcantara has completed six innings in four straight starts while allowing only one home run in that span...The Marlins arrived at Newark airport around 4:40 a.m. this morning. Not ideal!

Yankees Lineup

  1. 2B DJ LeMahieu
  2. RF Aaron Judge
  3. CF Aaron Hicks
  4. DH Giancarlo Stanton
  5. 1B Luke Voit
  6. 3B Gio Urshela
  7. SS Gleyber Torres
  8. C Gary Sánchez
  9. LF Clint Frazier

P J.A. Happ (3.25 ERA, 4.36 FIP, 22.4 K%, 36.9 Hard Hit% in 44.1 IP)

Notes: Stanton is slashing .214/.290/.429 with one home run in seven games since returning from a hamstring injury...The Yankees collectively own a monstrous .269/.363/.545 slash line with 64 home runs at home this season. However, they have been outscored 18-2 over the last two games entering tonight.
