Baseball Savant

Notes: The Marlins have yet to use Brad Boxberger, Yimi García or Brandon Kintzler in this series. Expect to see some or all of them tonight if the club has a late-inning lead to protect...Radio producer Alejandro Solana gets you hyped for Sixto’s final regular season start!

Braves Lineup

  1. RF Ronald Acuña Jr.
  2. 1B Freddie Freeman
  3. DH Marcell Ozuna
  4. 2B Ozzie Albies
  5. LF Nick Markakis
  6. SS Dansby Swanson
  7. 3B Adeiny Hechavarría
  8. C Tyler Flowers
  9. CF Ender Inciarte

P Max Fried (1.96 ERA, 2.61 FIP, 22.9 K%, 21.4 Hard Hit% in 55.0 IP)

Baseball Savant

Notes: Congrats to the Braves on clinching another NL East division title. It’s their third straight, and they have finished in first more than all other NL East teams combined since joining the division in 1994 (15 titles in 27 seasons)...The top half of tonight’s lineup is stacked as usual, but there’s a steep drop-off in power potential from the No. 5 spot onward...Fried remains on the periphery of the NL Cy Young race. However, it’s doubtful that the Braves will push him too deep given his importance to their thin starting rotation and the fact that he missed time earlier this month with back spasms.
