Welcome to Wednesday’s Marlins (16-15) vs. Blue Jays (18-16) game thread.

Fish Picks is BACK and better than ever! Our free-to-play daily prop bets contest is open to all fans. Courtesy of a new Fish Stripes partnership with Fantom Drip, weekly points leaders will win their choice of a Marlins face covering (five different varieties available) or the exclusive Fish Stripes design.

The Fish Picks leaderboard will update daily to let you know where you stand.

Blue Jays Lineup

  1. CF Cavan Biggio
  2. DH Randal Grichuk
  3. 2B Jonathan Villar
  4. RF Teoscar Hernández
  5. 1B Rowdy Tellez
  6. LF Lourdes Gurriel Jr.
  7. 3B Travis Shaw
  8. SS Santiago Espinal
  9. C Danny Jansen

P Hyun Jin Ryu (2.92 ERA, 2.93 FIP, 27.0 K%, 25.8 Hard Hit% in 37.0 IP)

Baseball Savant

Notes: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has played in all 34 Blue Jays games this season. He’ll presumably be available off the bench as a pinch-hitter...Although at first glance it would seem that Ryu and Sixto have little in common, they both wield incredible changeups and use them liberally.

Marlins Lineup

  1. 2B Jon Berti
  2. CF Starling Marte
  3. 1B Garrett Cooper
  4. DH Jesús Aguilar
  5. 3B Brian Anderson
  6. LF Corey Dickerson
  7. RF Lewis Brinson
  8. C Jorge Alfaro
  9. SS Jazz Chisholm

P Sixto Sánchez (2.25 ERA, 3.23 FIP, 29.8 K%, 37.5 Hard Hit% in 12.0 IP)

Baseball Savant

Notes: After missing five straight games with a stiff back, Aguilar is occupying the cleanup spot. The Marlins offense was inconsistent during his absence, including twice being shut out by the Rays...A sore abdomen for Miguel Rojas paves the way for Jazz’s first career start! The Bahamian shortstop had a .255/.327/.462 career slash line in the minors, including .284/.383/.494 in 94 plate appearances with Double-A Jacksonville following the trade last summer. Eddy Alvarez has been recalled as well.

How to watch/listen/follow
