Welcome to Saturday’s Marlins (14-13) vs. Rays (22-11) game thread. We are in the midst of Impact Week for the Marlins organization and only the second true “homestand” for the Fish this season.
Fish Picks is BACK and better than ever! Our free-to-play daily prop bets contest is open to all fans. Courtesy of a new Fish Stripes partnership with Fantom Drip, weekly points leaders will win their choice of a Marlins face covering (five different varieties available) or the exclusive Fish Stripes design.
And the overall 2020 season points leader will receive an Air Rojas t-shirt!
The Fish Picks leaderboard will update daily to let you know where you stand.

- LF Brandon Lowe
- 3B Yandy Díaz
- 1B Ji-Man Choi
- SS Willy Adames
- 2B Joey Wendle
- RF Manuel Margot
- CF Kevin Kiermaier
- C Michael Pérez
Notes: The top seven batters in the lineup remain the same from the series opener...29th-ranked Rays prospect according to MLB Pipeline, Fleming is making only his second career start (debuted vs. the Blue Jays on Sunday). He maintained an extremely low walk rate during his rise through the minor league system and thrived against fellow lefties.
Marlins Lineup
- CF Jon Berti
- 2B Jonathan Villar
- DH Garrett Cooper
- 3B Brian Anderson
- 1B Lewin Díaz
- C Jorge Alfaro
- LF Lewis Brinson
- RF Jesús Sánchez
- SS Miguel Rojas
P Pablo López (1.98 ERA, 2.42 FIP, 23.5 K%, 30.9 Hard Hit%, 27.1 IP)

Notes: Welcome back, Robert Dugger, Alex Vesia and Chad Wallach. All of them have been reinstated from the COVID-19 related injured list...Jesús Aguilar (stiff back) is on the bench for the second straight day. There has been no specific rumor regarding him as a trade candidate, but the Marlins do have some congestion at the 1B/DH/corner outfield spots and at least one 40-man roster spot that they need to open up with Sandy Alcantara reportedly starting on Sunday...Marlins fans should hope to see Yimi García in tonight’s game as that would likely mean that the team has a late-inning lead. Juan Páez has more about García’s potential impact down the stretch.
How to watch/listen/follow
The first pitch is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. ET. Watch on FOX Sports Florida and via MLB.TV or listen on 940 WINZ.
