Marlins Lineup

  1. CF Jon Berti
  2. SS Miguel Rojas
  3. 1B Neil Walker
  4. 3B Starlin Castro
  5. C Jorge Alfaro
  6. 2B Isan Díaz
  7. RF Harold Ramirez
  8. LF Austin Dean
  9. SP Caleb Smith (4.31 ERA, 4.92 FIP, 26.6 K%, 35.8 Hard Hit% in 150.1 IP)

Notes: During a year in which the Marlins have largely struggled against NL East competition, they can clinch their season series against the Phillies by winning either of the these final two games...Lewis Brinson may be sidelined for the weekend after suffering a right foot contusion on Friday. If so, he will wrap up 2019 slashing .174/.238/.223 with zero home runs in 246 plate appearances; Billy Hamilton is the only major leaguer this season who’s been held homerless while receiving so much playing time.

Phillies Lineup

  1. 2B César Hernández
  2. LF Phil Gosselin
  3. RF Bryce Harper
  4. 1B Rhys Hoskins
  5. SS Sean Rodriguez
  6. 3B Maikel Franco
  7. CF Adam Haseley
  8. C Deivy Grullon
  9. SP Zach Eflin (4.16 ERA, 4.90 FIP, 18.2 K%, 33.6 Hard Hit% in 155.2 IP)

Notes: Old friend J.T. Realmuto underwent meniscus surgery Friday on his right knee. Although this Phillies team collectively underachieved in 2019, he was as good as advertised (.275/.328/.493, 25 HR, 46.7 CS%, 5.7 fWAR). There have been rumblings about a potential contract extension. Otherwise, Realmuto is due to enter free agency after 2020...In 25 innings pitched against the Marlins this season (four starts), Eflin has issued just one walk.
