Marlins Lineup

  1. CF Jon Berti
  2. SS Miguel Rojas
  3. 3B Starlin Castro
  4. 1B Austin Dean
  5. 2B Isan Díaz
  6. LF Harold Ramirez
  7. RF Lewis Brinson
  8. C Tyler Heineman
  9. SP Pablo López (4.96 ERA, 4.39 FIP, 20.5 K%, 36.4 Hard Hit% in 107.0 IP)

Notes: I’ve noted before that Dean is doing a spot-on 2018 Peter O’Brien impression this September. Now, he has ascended all the way to the cleanup spot, where O’Brien finished up last season. Let’s applaud his hot streak without overreacting to it, please...Marlins insider Craig Mish hinted at potential coaching staff changes earlier today. Sure enough, Tim Wallach is leaving this offseason to devote more time to his family.

Phillies Lineup

  1. 2B César Hernández
  2. SS Scott Kingery
  3. RF Bryce Harper
  4. 1B Rhys Hoskins
  5. LF Brad Miller
  6. C Andrew Knapp
  7. 3B Maikel Franco
  8. CF Adam Haseley
  9. SP Vince Velasquez (4.76 ERA, 5.17 FIP, 25.6 K%, 40.3 Hard Hit% in 113.1 IP)

Notes: Old friend J.T. Realmuto underwent meniscus surgery today on his right knee. Although this Phillies team collectively underachieved in 2019, he was as good as advertised (.275/.328/.493, 25 HR, 46.7 CS%, 5.7 fWAR). There have been rumblings about a potential contract extension. Otherwise, Realmuto is due to enter free agency after 2020...Harper cracked the major leagues in 2012. His 27 home runs against the Marlins are the second-highest total for any player during that span, trailing only Freddie Freeman.
