Brewers Lineup

  1. CF Lorenzo Cain
  2. C Yasmani Grandal
  3. RF Christian Yelich
  4. 1B Eric Thames
  5. LF Ryan Braun
  6. 2B Cory Spangenberg
  7. SS Hernán Pérez
  8. 3B Travis Shaw
  9. SP Chase Anderson (4.58 ERA, 4.93 FIP, 21.3 K%, 33.4 Hard Hit% in 120.0 IP)

Notes: Maddeningly inconsistent for much of the summer, the Brewers improved to seven games above .500 on Monday night, their best mark since July 1...Critical factors for them each game are, “Is Josh Hader available?” and “For how much work?” With a day off during that latest win and only 10 pitches thrown the previous game, the strikeout artist will presumably be able to go up to two innings if Milwaukee has a late lead. Very convenient for them considering that Anderson hasn’t gone more than six innings in any start this season.

Marlins Lineup

  1. SS Miguel Rojas
  2. CF Lewis Brinson
  3. 1B Garrett Cooper
  4. 3B Starlin Castro
  5. C Jorge Alfaro
  6. 2B Isan Díaz
  7. LF Austin Dean
  8. RF Magneuris Sierra
  9. SP Elieser Hernandez (5.23 ERA, 5.90 FIP, 22.5 K%, 31.4 Hard Hit% in 72.1 IP)

Notes: With Brinson continuing to struggle at the major league level, Wells Dusenbury of the Sun Sentinel took a look at what’s ailing him, with some perspective from Don Mattingly. Tonight marks the first time all year that he’ll start in the No. 2 spot for the Fish...In partnership with the Miami Marlins Foundation, Martín Prado was at Florida International University this morning to present a $2,550 scholarship to one of their Venezuelan students.
