Braves Lineup

  1. RF Ronald Acuña Jr.
  2. 2B Ozzie Albies
  3. 1B Freddie Freeman
  4. 3B Josh Donaldson
  5. LF Adam Duvall
  6. SS Charlie Culberson
  7. C Tyler Flowers
  8. CF Ender Inciarte
  9. P Julio Teheran (3.46 ERA, 4.47 FIP, 21.2 K%, 35.8 Hard Hit% in 130.0 IP)

Notes: The switch-hitting Albies has terrorized left-handers this season (.394/.412/.688, 8 HR). If the Braves are going to rebound from a quiet series opener, expect him to be prominently involved...Teheran will be making his 24th career start against the Marlins. Only 11 pitchers all time have faced the franchise more often in a starting role.

Baseball Savant

Marlins Lineup

  1. SS Jon Berti
  2. 2B Isan Díaz
  3. RF Brian Anderson
  4. 1B Garrett Cooper
  5. 3B Starlin Castro
  6. CF Lewis Brinson
  7. C Jorge Alfaro
  8. LF Curtis Granderson
  9. P Caleb Smith (3.35 ERA, 4.19 FIP, 30.2 K%, 37.2 Hard Hit% in 102.0 IP)

Notes: Top to bottom, this might be my favorite Marlins lineup of the season, featuring Díaz—making his home debut—and Anderson, who has been amazing lately, in case you haven’t noticed.

Thursday’s blowout win had a painful ending for Tayron Guerrero. First it was a blister that sent Guerrero to the injured list last month, and now, the nail on that same right middle finger is sidelining him. Tyler Kinley promptly returns after being optioned to Triple-A New Orleans earlier this week...Meant to share this at the start of the homestand, but here’s a peek at the upcoming Marlins Park promotions...
