Phillies Lineup

  1. 2B César Hernández
  2. 1B Rhys Hoskins
  3. C J.T. Realmuto
  4. LF Corey Dickerson
  5. SS Jean Segura
  6. 3B Brad Miller
  7. CF Scott Kingery
  8. RF Adam Haseley
  9. SP Zach Eflin (4.57 ERA, 4.81 FIP, 25.3 K%, 40.2 Hard Hit% in 122.0 IP)

Notes: Bryce Harper remains on the paternity list, marking the first time all season that he’ll miss consecutive games...With the Phillies bullpen depleted, infielder Sean Rodriguez had to take the mound to finish off the eighth inning in the record-breaking series opener. Certainly, Eflin is expected to provide some length for them in game two.

Marlins Lineup

  1. SS Jon Berti
  2. 1B Neil Walker
  3. 3B Starlin Castro
  4. RF Harold Ramirez
  5. 2B Isan Díaz
  6. LF Austin Dean
  7. C Jorge Alfaro
  8. CF Lewis Brinson
  9. SP Jordan Yamamoto (4.31 ERA, 4.62 FIP, 25.2 K%, 40.9 Hard Hit% in 64.2 IP)

Notes: By making it through at least five innings tonight, Yamamoto would establish a new career high for largest workload in any professional season (he was drafted by the Brewers in 2014)...A serious blow to the competitive chances and entertainment value of the Marlins down the stretch, Brian Anderson suffered a fractured left hand on a hit by pitch in the third inning Friday night. Speaking to reporters in the clubhouse afterwards, he seemed resigned to the fact that his 2019 season is over. Dean has been recalled from Triple-A New Orleans to fill the roster spot. More Marlins injuries updates below.
