Dodgers Lineup
- CF A.J. Pollock
- 3B Justin Turner
- C Will Smith
- 1B Cody Bellinger
- 2B Max Muncy
- RF Kris Negron
- SS Corey Seager
- LF Kyle Garlick
- P Walker Buehler (3.08 ERA, 2.97 FIP, 29.1 K%, 36.5 Hard Hit% in 137.1 IP)
Notes: Not much else needs to be said—this is a mismatch of historic proportions.
The Dodgers have beaten the Marlins by 8+ runs in their last 3 meetings. Tied for the longest franchise streak against a single team in at least the last 112 seasons.

Other such 3-game streaks were in the Brooklyn days:
Cards (June 17-July 16, 1950)
Reds (Aug. 8-25, 1954)
Call it a successful day if the Marlins score multiple runs against Buehler.

Marlins Lineup
- SS Jon Berti
- 2B Isan Díaz
- RF Brian Anderson
- 1B Garrett Cooper
- 3B Starlin Castro
- LF Curtis Granderson
- C Jorge Alfaro
- CF Lewis Brinson
- P Caleb Smith (3.71 ERA, 4.34 FIP, 29.5 K%, 37.6 Hard Hit% in 106.2 IP)
Notes: Back-to-back starts with only four strikeouts apiece is uncharacteristically low for KKKKKKKaleb; last time that happened was in June 2018, right before suffering his season-ending lat injury...On Wednesday, Derek Jeter was complimentary of Don Mattingly’s performance as Marlins manager, but didn’t clearly endorse him to continue holding that job beyond this season. The fanbase seems to be on the same wavelength—appreciative of how Mattingly has conducted himself these four years while recognizing that a change could be in the club’s best competitive interests.
How to watch/listen/follow
The game gets underway at 3:05 p.m. ET. Watch on FOX Sports Florida and via MLB.TV or listen on 940 WINZ.
