Delaying the start of his professional career, contract negotiations between the Marlins and Misner’s camp went down to the wire. His deal was made official mere minutes before the July 12 signing deadline.
Through 22 games, Misner is slashing .247/.370/.371 while playing primarily center fielder and going a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen base attempts.
