Miami Marlins Predictions - All Star Break

Michael McLoone-USA TODAY Sports

We have hit the All Star Break, and the Fish sit at 33-55. Time to look at my predictions for the season....

1. At least 2 starters will finish with double digit wins.

Smith I believe would at least have 5-7 wins if he did not get hurt. I think he bounces back and will hit the double digit mark. My other two starters I have faith in are Lopez and Yamamoto. Both these guys can bring it.

2. Miami gets more than one All Star.

Again, if Smith wouldn't have gotten hurt, he probably would be the guy. But congrats to Alcantara for making it...but yeah, two wasn't going to cut it.

3. Jorge Alfaro and Lewis Brinson finish with more than 20 homers a piece.

Still don't see it happening...damn you BRINSON

4. Austin Dean, Isan Diaz, Peter O'Brien all are recalled before the All Star Break.

O'Brien was DFA'd of course..ugh..but at least Dean got up.

5. Brian Anderson finishes in the top 10 in batting average.

Sigh......STILL not going to happen.....

6. The Fish make a trade before the season is out.

I want Romo, Castro, Chen and Granderson GONE....they are blocking the young dawgs!

7. The Marlins will not finish in last place.

Umm....it could happen?
