Braves Lineup

  1. CF Ronald Acuña Jr.
  2. SS Dansby Swanson
  3. 1B Freddie Freeman
  4. 3B Josh Donaldson
  5. LF Austin Riley
  6. 2B Ozzie Albies
  7. C Tyler Flowers
  8. RF Matt Joyce
  9. P Max Fried (3.68 ERA, 3.89 FIP, 21.1 K%, 38.0 Hard Hit% in 66.0 IP)

Notes: Regarded as an elite prospect from the very beginning of his pro career, Fried is finally living up to his mid-rotation starter potential. He complements above-average fastball velocity with a curveball that ranks 92nd percentile in the majors in spin rate. He’s coming off a rough outing earlier this week, though (4.0 IP, 9 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 1 HR vs. Pirates).

Marlins Lineup

  1. LF Austin Dean
  2. RF Garrett Cooper
  3. 3B Brian Anderson
  4. 2B Starlin Castro
  5. CF Harold Ramírez
  6. 1B Martín Prado
  7. SS Miguel Rojas
  8. C Bryan Holaday
  9. P Pablo López (4.52 ERA, 3.82 FIP, 23.5 K%, 36.5 Hard Hit% in 63.2 IP)

Notes: This is the second of four Bark at the Park games at Marlins Park this season. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Humane Society of Greater Miami...Rosell Herrera has not started a game for the Marlins in three weeks. You can question why somebody like that is even on the roster if the coaching staff has no interest in utilizing him, but...wow: Herrera has an incredible .357/.438/.929 slash line in 16 plate appearances during this non-starting stretch. Seems comfortable in that role.
