Nationals Lineup

  1. SS Trea Turner
  2. RF Adam Eaton
  3. 3B Anthony Rendon
  4. LF Juan Soto
  5. 1B Matt Adams
  6. C Kurt Suzuki
  7. CF Víctor Robles
  8. 2B Brian Dozier
  9. P Stephen Strasburg (3.79 ERA, 3.40 FIP, 29.1 K%, 34.4 Hard Hit% in 102.0 IP)

Notes: The Nats became the first team this season to lose a series to the Fish, but have since won six of the last seven games against them...Uncharacteristically healthy in 2019, Strasburg can move into the top 10 among MLB pitchers in both innings pitched and strikeouts with a decent outing tonight.

Marlins Lineup

  1. SS Miguel Rojas
  2. LF Harold Ramírez
  3. RF Garrett Cooper
  4. 3B Brian Anderson
  5. 1B Neil Walker
  6. 2B Starlin Castro
  7. CF JT Riddle
  8. C Bryan Holaday
  9. P Sandy Alcantara (Triple-A stats: 3.51 ERA, 4.13 FIP, 16.8 K%, 31.1 Hard Hit% in 89.2 IP)

Notes: Approximately midway through their 2019 home schedule, the Marlins have a 13-27 record in Miami. That .325 winning percentage would be easily the worst single-season mark in franchise history...Sandy Alcantara joined the Swings and Mishes podcast for his first-ever sit-down interview in English. The Dominican right-hander is perhaps the most likely Marlins player to earn an All-Star selection thanks to his improved performance recently...For the first time in his Marlins career, Starlin Castro has been dropped to the No. 6 spot in the batting order. Our own Ethan Budowsky makes the case for promoting Isan Díaz now to supplant Castro as the everyday second baseman.
