Cardinals Lineup
- 3B Matt Carpenter
- RF José Martínez
- 1B Paul Goldschmidt
- LF Marcell Ozuna
- 2B Kolten Wong
- SS Yairo Muñoz
- CF Harrison Bader
- C Matt Wieters
- P Michael Wacha (6.30 ERA, 6.27 FIP, 20.4 K%, 35.5 Hard Hit% in 50.0 IP)
Notes: Checking in with the former Fish outfielder Ozuna, he’s slashing .259/.329/.530 (123 wRC+), tied for 11th among all major leaguers with 17 homers and already matching a career high with five stolen bases...Wacha has been alarmingly bad in 2019. Brutal timing for the pending free agent. He will be starting for the first time since May 22 and he hasn’t been stretched beyond 90 pitches since April, so expect the Cards bullpen to be heavily involved.

Marlins Lineup
- LF Austin Dean
- 1B Garrett Cooper
- 3B Brian Anderson
- 2B Starlin Castro
- RF Harold Ramírez
- CF JT Riddle
- C Jorge Alfaro
- SS Miguel Rojas
- P Sandy Alcantara (3.80 ERA, 4.43 FIP, 15.5 K%, 29.6 Hard Hit% in 71.0 IP)
Notes: Alcantara makes his 27th career major league appearance tonight, but his first against the franchise that originally signed him to a professional contract in 2013. Alcantara’s greatest asset continues to be minimizing quality contact; he ranks in the 91st percentile among MLB pitchers in opponents’ average exit velocity and 89th percentile in hard hit rate...Don Mattingly confirmed to reporters that Elieser Hernandez is Tuesday’s probable starter. Optioning Tyler Kinley would be a logical corresponding move...Second-round draft pick SS Nasim Nuñez is officially signed and spending a busy day at Marlins Park.
