Marlins Lineup

  1. LF Curtis Granderson
  2. 3B Brian Anderson
  3. 1B Neil Walker
  4. C Jorge Alfaro
  5. 2B Starlin Castro
  6. SS Miguel Rojas
  7. RF Peter O’Brien
  8. CF Rosell Herrera
  9. P José Ureña (5.45 ERA, 4.96 FIP, 16.5 K%, 38.8 Hard Hit% in 39.2 IP)

Notes: Drew Steckenrider (right elbow inflammation) to the injured list, replaced by rookie José Quijada in the latest roster move. Marlins bullpen has been arguably the worst in the majors this season (-1.2 fWAR)...Anderson returning to third base is perhaps the precursor to a Harold Ramírez call-up, reports Craig Mish of the Five Reasons Sports Network. In the meantime, the realignment gets O’Brien into the lineup against a right-handed pitcher—that generally hasn’t worked out for him (.208/.275/.400, 37.0 K% career vs. RHP)...Ureña is in the midst of a disappointing season. With both Zac Gallen and Elieser Hernandez dominating at Triple-A, the pressure is mounting on him to rediscover his late 2018 form.

Marlins Communications

Cubs Lineup

  1. CF Jason Heyward
  2. RF Kris Bryant
  3. 1B Anthony Rizzo
  4. SS Javier Báez
  5. C Willson Contreras
  6. 3B David Bote
  7. LF Kyle Schwarber
  8. 2B Addison Russell
  9. P Kyle Hendricks (3.93 ERA, 3.40 FIP, 18.1 K%, 38.1 Hard Hit% in 34.1 IP)

Notes: Alleged domestic abuser Addison Russell is back from his suspension, while Ben Zobrist goes to the IL. Although the Marlins have plenty of incentive to lose games in 2019, pulling off an upset on Wednesday given these circumstances would be very gratifying.

How to watch/listen/follow
