Game Preview

Trevor Richards (3-6, 3.92 ERA, 78 K) lasted just five innings his last time on the mound because of a high pitch count, but he allowed just one run and struck out seven. Over his last four starts (23 2⁄3 innings), he’s allowed just two earned runs for an 0.76 ERA.

John Gant (3-4, 4.12 ERA, 55K) hasn’t had the same success starting as he has out of the bullpen this year. He’s 1-4 with a 4.63 ERA and has averaged five innings per start since moving into the rotation.

I have several friends that are Cardinals fans, and I always want to see the Marlins perform well against them and their “best fans in baseball.” Is there a certain team that you want to see the Marlins whoop up on more than others?
