Last night's game
The Marlins dug themselves into an early 4-0 hole on Tuesday, and while J.T Riddle and Brian Anderson combined to bring home three runs in the fourth, they couldn’t quite pull it out in the end, losing 6-3. However, just because all the offense came in the fourth inning, that doesn’t mean that’s when all the excitement happened.
Whence did this come, you ask? Our trusty Twitter summed it up:
The ghost of Hunter Strickland screws the Marlins. Hothead idiot sets off a chain of events that gets Straily and Mattingly ejected in 2nd inning.

Strickland, you may remember, is a world-class doofus. He broke his hand punching a wall after his "save oops" Tuesday night and might want to consider anger counseling in his time off. Or at least laying off the Colombian Coffee Crystals. And the beef.
Afterward, Mattingly lightened the mood with these quips on the fracas. You can tell he is on the verge of laughter:
.@Marlins manager Don Mattingly on the controversy surrounding the series, playing at AT&T park.

Off the field
While Mattingly, Straily, et al were in were involved in bean-ball wars and verbal altercations, other Marlins were fighting, too. Martin Prado and Garrett Cooper are battling to get back from injury.
In the minors, a host of prospects are campaigning for promotions:
NEW: Highly-rated pitching talent the @Marlins acquired in the offseason starting to impresshttps://t.co/YvXMNZZ4q4 @HeraldSports @clarkspencer @flasportsbuzz @Manny_Navarro @alexmenamiami

And while Miami has two strong candidates for both the “All-Initial” and All-Star teams in J.T. Realmuto and “BA” Brian Anderson, a dark-horse candidate has emerged for the Mid-Summer Classic.
Today’s game
Jose Ureña (2-8) takes the hill for the Fish today at 3:45 PM. He’ll be opposed by master impersonator Derek Holland (4-7). Tune in to see if the bean-ball war continues.
And I would be remiss if I didn't leave you all with these clips of some of these famous Fishes' classic memories.
