Miami Marlins links, 4/6/18: Frigid and forgettable in Philadelphia edition.

Some fun Friday links, too.

First things first. Yesterday’s game:

Forgettable” and “frigid” are two f-words (among others) that you don’t want associated with your team or its play. The Marlins struggled in their first away game of 2018, and Caleb Smith could not find the strike zone.

The Fish ended up losing 5-0. However, Jarlin Garcia made his case for the rotation, with four innings of two-run ball.

The team sent Severino Gonzalez and Austin Nola to AAA – New Orleans yesterday. Garrett Cooper was placed on the 10-day DL, with number 17 prospect Braxton Lee replacing him on the big-league club.
