First things first. Yesterday’s game:
“Forgettable” and “frigid” are two f-words (among others) that you don’t want associated with your team or its play. The Marlins struggled in their first away game of 2018, and Caleb Smith could not find the strike zone.

The Fish ended up losing 5-0. However, Jarlin Garcia made his case for the rotation, with four innings of two-run ball.
Mattingly speaks about the loss. And Garcia:

Roster moves:
The team sent Severino Gonzalez and Austin Nola to AAA – New Orleans yesterday. Garrett Cooper was placed on the 10-day DL, with number 17 prospect Braxton Lee replacing him on the big-league club.
Will red-hot Brian Anderson stick at similarly hot third base?
And for some really old roster news, here’s a look back at the 1993 expansion draft that started it all for your favorite team.
Fish Stripes action:
José Ureña on the edge of glory has no comments? Does no one have an opinion on this? Get over there and read it, people! You should care about an ace possibly forming before your very eyes. Plus, the dude has ice in his veins:

If you do as I ask, then you have my permission to take this fun, fishy quiz.
Next game:
The Marlins are off today, but here’s how they stack up against the Phils on Saturday.
