Giancarlo Stanton was frustrated after the Marlins traded his closest friend, closer AJ Ramos. Stanton feels like the trade is a signal for another lost season.

Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre joined the 3,000-hit club with a double in the fourth inning against the Orioles. Beltre became the 31st player in MLB history to accomplish the feat, and he's also the first player from the Dominican Republic to have 3,000 hits.

The Colorado Rockies acquired catcher Jonathan Lucroy from the Rangers in exchange for a player to be named later. Lucroy was traded at this time last year, when the Brewers dealt him to Texas.
