Miami broke the 14-year-old record of 20 runs by two, on their way to a 22-10 final score. Every starter had an RBI with Derek Dietrich and Marcell Ozuna leading the charge with five apiece.

With his 33^rd home run of the season Giancarlo Stanton now stands alone atop the home run leaderboard. Stanton also ties club record for most home runs in a month with 12. He may look to break that record with five games left in the month of July.

Just hours before the game was set to begin the Marlins placed pitcher Kyle Barraclough on the 10-day disabled list with a right shoulder injury. Drew Steckenrider was called up from New Orleans to replace Barraclough.
