Edinson Volquez just threw a no-hitter against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
He did it with just 98 pitches, striking out 10 batters while the only two baserunners were walks in the fourth and eighth innings.
The best thing about the no-no was the Kirk Gibson-esque way Volquez did it with a bum ankle he sustained on this play in the first inning.

It was reminiscent of the Curt Schilling bloody sock game, except there wasn’t any ketchup involved in this one.
We can break down how Volquez really did it at a later time, but for now, let’s just enjoy the scenes at Marlins Park as the new Miami righty recorded the sixth no-hitter in team history.
