Ureña will earn his first start of the season pitching in place of Edinson Volquez. He has pitched effectively out of the bullpen in six games, but what he will be able to bring to bear as a starter is uncertain. He almost pitched a complete game shutout against the Dodgers last September, but then closed out the season getting bombed by the NL East to the tune of 17 runs over his final three starts. There is definitely some talent there, but it has yet to be consistently harnessed over 2+ seasons. I hope for the best.
Matt Harvey's best start of the 2017 season arguably came against the Marlins in Miami on April 16th, when he gave up a single run over six innings, scattering seven hits and two walks while striking out five. Aside from that, the Dark Knight's been rather pedestrian so the Marlins have a non-zero chance of getting back on track today.
